MY WORK

ANU OJALA-MARANO: I am a Finnish lady who just returned to live on the west coast of Finland to fulfil her dream: having her own company, Lana et Linum, specialized in making historical and theatrical costumes! After studying and working for years in the hospitality and restaurant industry in Finland and abroad I found myself living in Milan, with my Italian husband. I decided to take advantage of the chance of going to study theatre costume making. All my life I have been sewing, knitting, crocheting or embroidering but I wanted to learn more. Seems I did a correct decision. My interest/passion for sewing didn’t die, but keeps going stronger. I love to make all kind of costumes but lately I have been making mainly medieval and theatrical costumes.
